Zusammenfassung
Der Engpaß der medizinischen Dokumentation liegt in der Datenerfassung, da durch die
starke Arbeitsbelastung der Ärzte in den meisten radiologischen Kliniken ein zusätzlicher
Zeitaufwand für Codierung oder Dateneingabe nicht akzeptiert wird. Das Klartextsystem
AURA verwendet den frei formulierten Befundtext als Grundlage der Dokumentation. Dadurch
wird der gewohnte Arbeitsablauf des Befundes nicht geändert. Die Dokumentation bringt
keine zusätzliche Belastung, allerdings auch keine Verbesserung durch Einsparung von
Schreibkräften oder raschere Informationsvermittlung. Ziel des Systems ist das Aufsuchen
bestimmter Fälle, allgemeine statistische Auswertungen über das Untersuchungsmaterial
und die geplante automatische Information des Radiologen über verifizierende klinische
oder patho-histologische Befunde. Alte Befunde können durch Abschreiben leicht in
die Dokumentation aufgenommen werden. Die Speicherung des Originaltextes erlaubt Änderungen
der Klassifikation oder der Verschlüsselungsprogramme ohne Verlust von bereits erfaßten
Daten.
Summary
The bottle-neck in medical documentation lies in the provision of data, since busy
doctors in most radiological clinics cannot spend time on coding or providing data
for filing. The AURA system uses the original texts as the basis for documentation.
This does not involve the work of the doctor. This form of documentation involves
no additional effort, on the other hand it does not improve information transfer or
save secretarial work. The aim of the system is to make it possible to find individual
cases and make these available for statistical analysis or for automatic follow-up
by the radiologist in relation to the final clinical or pathological diagnosis. Old
cases can be readily incorpoarted. Storage of the Originaltexts makes it possible
to change the classification or the key to it without losing already processed data.
