Der Wert der Pneumomyelographie in der Abschätzung des terminalen Durasackanteiles

Zusammenfassung

Es wurden 1500 Myelogramme von 300 lumbalen Luftmyelographien analysiert. Mit der beschriebenen Methode werden wesentlich mehr Informationen erhalten als mit dem traditionellen Pneumomyelogramm. Nach Ansicht des Verfassers kann die lumbale Luftmyelographie das Jodöl und die Jodester in der Diagnostik der Bandscheibenhernie ersetzen, nachdem ihr Wirkungsgrad nicht wesentlich schlechter ist als dieser. Infolge der sicheren Unschädlichkeit ist ihre Bevorzugung berechtigt.

Summary

Three hundred lumbar air myelograms were selected from a total of 1,500 examinations and their results analysed. The method described in this paper provides significantly more information than conventional myelograms. In the opinion of the author, lumbar air myelography can replace iodinated oils and esters in the diagnosis of disc prolapse, since its accuracy is not significantly inferior. Because of its lack of toxicity it is to be preferred.
