Zusammenfassung

Die pharmakokinetische Untersuchung des durch eine geringe Toxizität ausgezeichnete gallengängige Kontrastmittels Iodoxaminsäure (als Diglumin-Iodaxamat) ergab eine Halbwertzeit von 93 Min. im Blutserum und eine Ausscheidung im Harn von 12,5% 24 Std. Hieraus ergeben sich — auch im Vergleich mit bekannten und erprobten Kontrastmitteln — gute Voraussetzungen für eine röntgenologische Darstellung der Gallenwege.

Summary

Pharmaco-kinetic studies of the cholecystographic contrast medium iodoxaminic acid (Diglumin-Iodaxamate) which is characterised by low toxicity, revealed a half-value period of 93 minutes in the serum and a urinary excretion rate of 12.5% in 24 hours. This indicated the probability that this medium would be suitable for the radio logical demonstration of the biliary tract when compared with known and tried contrast media.
