Darstellung der Schädelbasis mittels der Computer-Tomographie

Zusammenfassung

Neben der Darstellung der Weichteilstrukturen des Gehirns lassen sich mit der Computer-Tomographie auch die Knochenstrukturen des Schädels abbilden. Das ist möglich durch die Anwendung besonders großer Fensterbreiten oder mittels der additiven photographischen Bildmanipulation (Integralphotographie). Anhand von Bildbeispielen aus dem Bereich der Schädelbasis wird die klinische Bedeutung belegt. Auf Vorteile des echten Schichtbildes in der Computer-Tomographie im Vergleich zur konventionellen Röntgentechnik wird hingewiesen.

For this the window width has to be increased, or one has to use additive photographic manipulation (integral photography). The clinical value of views of the skull base is illustrated. The advantages of computed tomography compared with conventional radiographic technique are stressed.
