Durch die Einführung der Computertomographiegeräte der zweiten Generation ist es möglich, Frontal- und Halbaxialschnitte auf direktem Wege durch entsprechende Lagerung herzustellen. Dies hat besondere Bedeutung bei Veränderungen im Bereich der Schädelbasis, des Ventrikelsystems, des Tentoriums, der Falx cerebri und der Schädelkalotte. Es wird auf die Durchführung der Lagerung ausführlich eingegangen.

The introduction of second generation computer tomographic apparatus has made it possible to obtain frontal and half axial projections.
