Fraktur oder kongenitale Zusammenhangstrennung?

Summary

The present case deals with the pathogenesis of multiple alterations in the navicular bone of the forelimb of a five-year-old quarter horse gelding. The radiographs suggest the presence of a connective tissue repaired bone fracture. Clinical signs and especially bilateral conformity impeach a traumatic origin. The question of cause could finally not be solved.
