Keratosis palmoplantaris maculosa seu papulosa Buschke-Fischer-Brauer

Zusammenfassung

Die Palmoplantarkeratosen sind hereditäre Genodermatosen, welche selten im klinischen Alltag beobachtet werden. Hierdurch ist die genaue nosologische Einordnung der jeweilig beobachteten Erkrankung in die korrekte Entität oft erschwert. Wir stellen einen klinisch eindrucksvollen Fall einer palmoplantaren Keratose bei einem erwachsenen Mann vor, welche in Zusammenschau aller anamnestischen, klinischen und feingeweblichen Befunde als Keratosis palmoplantaris maculosa seu papulosa Typ Buschke-Fischer-Brauer eingeordnet wurde. Es werden die wesentlichen klinischen Differenzialdiagnosen vorgestellt und therapeutische Optionen diskutiert.

Abstract

Punctate keratosis of the palmes and soles have been historically integrated into a huge group of rare palmoplantar keratoderma with a confusing plethora of distinct entities. They are classified by the age of onset, clinical characteristics and associated syndromes. Missing awareness and knowledge of the distinct entities often delay correct diagnosis. Here we present the case of a clinical very impressive dermatologic feature in an adult male. Due to synopsis of anamnesis, clinical and histopathological findings the case presented herein has been classified as keratosis punctata palmaris et plantaris (syn. Buschke-Fischer-Brauer disease). We discuss relevant differential diagnoses and therapeutic options.
