Abstract

2-Alkynylbenzaldoxime reacts with phenol under the catalysis of silver triflate in the presence of bromo-tris-pyrrolidino-phosphonium hexafluorophosphate (PyBroP) under mild conditions, leading to the formation of 1-aroxyisoquinolines in good to excellent yields.
