Abstract
This case report describes the treatment of a unilateral class II occlusion. The correction was made by unilateral distalization of the teeth. Skelettal anchorage was necessary to treat the class II occlusion in order to avoid side effects on the other teeth. An ankylosed front tooth which otherwise had to be extracted was used for skelettal anchorage.
