Kongressnachlese – Deutscher Pankreasclub 2010

Einleitung

Die jährlichen Treffen des Deutschen Pankreasclubs e. V. (DPC) stellen das wis­senschaftliche Forum der deutschen Pan­kreasforscher dar. Vom 18. bis 20. November 2010 fand am Klinikum rechts der Isar der Technischen Universität München die 31. Jahrestagung des DPC statt. Der diesjährige Schwerpunkt lag auf dem Gebiet der Pankreaskarzinomforschung und der Darstellung innovativer Modellsysteme für diese Erkrankung [1] [2] . Der Kongress begann mit einem Workshop im Helmholtz-Zentrum München (organisiert von Irene Esposito aus München) und einer Führung durch die dortige „German ­Mouse Clinic“ [3]. Der Kongress selbst war in verschiedene Sitzungen gegliedert, die im Folgenden kurz dargestellt wer­den. Insgesamt nahmen 130 Kliniker und Wissenschaftler an der 31. Jahrestagung des DPC teil, mit 14 eingeladenen State-of-the-art Vorträgen und 69 freien Vor­trägen.
