10 Jahre DMP – Zeit, um Bestehendes zu überprüfen und Neues anzugehen. Die anfängliche Skepsis ist gewichen und inzwischen nehmen mehr als 650 000 Versicherte an unseren DAK-Gesundheitsprogrammen (DMP) teil – mit weiterhin steigender Tendenz. Die gesetzlichen – aber auch die zusätzlichen kasseneigenen – Evaluationen zeigen, dass die Programme die Erwartungen erfüllen. Einerseits wurde die Versorgungsqualität erhöht, andererseits werden Folgeerkrankungen vermieden. Zudem zeigen die Analysen eine Senkung der Leistungsausgaben. Die Weiterentwicklung der Programme sollte mehrdimensional erfolgen – strukturell, prozessual, inhaltlich. Die DAK unterstützt z. B. die Forderung nach „körperlichen Aktivitäten und Sport“ als festen Bestandteil im strukturierten Behandlungsprogramm Brustkrebs. Im Vorgriff hierzu bieten wir bereits unser eigenes DAK-Bewegungsprogramm Brustkrebs an – mit großem Erfolg. Daneben gibt es auch Bewegungsprogramme für Diabetiker und Patienten mit koronarer Herzkrankheit sowie Patienten mit Adipositas.
After 10 years of DMP implementation it is time to reflect on the past achievements and initiate new measures. The initial skepticism that surrounded this concept has now evaporated and nowadays more than 650 000 insured persons participate in DAK‘s Health program (DMP) and the numbers are expected to increase in the near future. The statutory as well as DAK‘s own evaluations show that the program has met the expectations. On the one hand the health care quality has increased whereas the incidences of sequelae have been avoided. Moreover, the analyses reveal increased efficiency in the use of the resources at hand. Further development of the program will involve multidimensional aspects structurally, procedurally and in terms of content. According to the DAK, post-care should be part and parcel of DMP for example after physical activity and sports in the structured health care program of breast cancer patients. With this in mind, DAK is already successfully offering physical activity programs for breast cancer patients. Besides, there are physical activity programs for diabetics and patients with coronary heart diseases as well as those with adiposity.
