Zusammenfassung
In Österreich gibt es an der Universität Wien und der Medizinischen Universität Wien
wenige Vorlesungen zur Phytotherapie und keine speziellen zum Thema an den Universitäten
von Graz oder Innsbruck. Die umfassendste Ausbildung zur Phytotherapie für Ärzte in
Österreich bietet die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Phytotherapie. Im Rahmen von
8 Wochenendseminaren (96 Stunden) werden zahlreiche Aspekte der Phytotherapie vorgestellt.
Nach einer erfolgreichen Abschlussprüfung erhalten die Teilnehmer das ÖGPhyt-Phytodiplom.
Seit 2011 findet in Südtirol ein ähnlicher Kurs für Ärzte und Pharmazeuten statt.
Summary
Teaching phytotherapy in Austria
There are few lectures on phytotherapy at the University of Vienna and the Medical
University of Vienna, but no special lectures at the universities of Graz and Innsbruck.
The most comprehensive education in phytotherapy in Austria is offered to medical
doctors by the Austrian society of phytotherapy. In 8 weekend seminars (96 hours)
many aspects of phytotherapy are presented. After a successful final examination,
the “Phytodiploma” is awarded by the Austrian society of phytotherapy. Since 2011
a similar course is offered in South Tyrol to medical doctors and pharmacists.
