Der vorzeitige Blasensprung tritt in 5–10 % aller Schwangerschaften auf, 60 % der
vorzeitigen Blasensprünge finden am Termin statt ([3]). Bei 85 % der Schwangeren kommt es nach einem vorzeitigen
Blasensprung am Termin innerhalb von 24 Stunden zum Einsetzen spontaner
Wehentätigkeit ([10]).
Trotz dieses
physiologischen Prozesses wird das Management rund um den vorzeitigen
Blasensprung sehr kontrovers diskutiert, und es werden unterschiedliche
Empfehlungen in den relevanten Richtlinien gegeben.
