Zusammenfassung

Das Greifen mit der Hand ist eine unbewusste, extrem häufige und selbstverständliche Alltagshandlung. Kommt es hierbei zu einer Störung als typische Folge von Erkrankungen des zentralen und peripheren Nervensystems, zeigen sich Einschränkungen wie verminderte Präzisionsleistungen der Finger bis hin zur Unfähigkeit, die Hand für einfache Greif- und Halteaufgaben zu benutzen. In ihrem Artikel analysieren Joachim Hermsdörfer und Kathrin Allgöwer dreidimensionale Greifbewegungen sowie die feinmotorische Kraftkontrolle bei der Manipulation eines Objektes. Sie bieten dem Leser neue Einblicke in die individuellen Charakteristika von Greifbewegungen sowie deren Störung bei Patienten mit sensorischer und motorischer Beeinträchtigung.
