Endoprothetik am Ellenbogengelenk

Das verletzte Ellenbogengelenk stellt durch die komplexe knöcherne Anatomie sowie den komplizierten Bandapparat eine Herausforderung für den behandelnden Arzt dar. Komplexe Verletzungen des Radiuskopfes sind nahezu regelhaft mit einer Instabilität des Gelenks vergesellschaftet. Zur Wiederherstellung der Gelenkkinematik und einer stabilen Gelenkfunktion ist bei fehlender Rekonstruktionsmöglichkeit eine Radiuskopfprothesenimplantation indiziert. In diesem Artikel werden die relevante Anatomie, Anamnese und Diagnostik sowie Prothesenhistorie und -modelle dargestellt. Auf die relevanten operationstaktischen Schritte und die Technik der Implantation wird detailliert eingegangen. In einem später zu publizierenden Beitrag werden Indikationen, OP-Technik und Besonderheiten der Totalendoprothetik des Ellenbogengelenks ausführlich vorgestellt.
