Supervision und Balintgruppen für Hörtherapeuten

Zusammenfassung

Hörtherapie zielt zwar auf Hörsymptome, Hörtherapie bedeutet dabei aber Beziehungsarbeit mit Menschen, die in ihrer emotionalen Wahrnehmung häufig eingeengt sind. Gleichzeitig steht der Hörtherapeut in seiner Profession im Spannungsfeld mind. zweier Berufsgruppen, die teils gemeinsame, teils ergänzende Interaktionen mit den Patienten erleben. Wenn dabei der Überblick im Umgang mit den Patienten oder die eigene Standfähigkeit strapaziert wird, kann der ebenso verständige wie wohlwollende Blick von außen (Supervision) hilfreich sein.

Abstract

Hearing therapy is primarily focused on auditory symptoms, but it also means working with patients who very often are emotionally disturbed. Furthermore, the hearing therapist works in an area of conflict between 2 other therapeutic professions, namely physicians and psychologists. All of them experience different or common interactions with their patients. In order to cope with these tensions and possible conflicts, control and help from neutral and not involved professionals (supervision) can be useful and helpful.
