Primäres Melanom der Speiseröhre – seltene Ursache einer Dysphagie

Zusammenfassung

Das primäre maligne Melanom der Speiseröhre ist ein seltener (0,2 % aller primären Ösophagustumore), aber sehr aggressiver Tumor mit schlechter Prognose. Die chirurgische Resektion ist therapeutische Option der Wahl, in der Regel als Ösophagusresektion mit Wiederherstellung der Kontinuität. Metastasen sind allerdings häufig und die Aussichten auf ein längeres Überleben gering. Wir berichten über einen 65-jährigen Patienten mit diesem seltenen Tumor der Speiseröhre und geben einen kurzen Literaturüberblick.

Abstract

Primary Malignant Melanoma of the Esophagus (PMME) is a rare (0,2 % of all primary tumors of the esophagus) but highly aggressive tumour with poor prognosis. Surgical resection is treatment of choice (esophagectomie with re-establishment of gastrointestinal continuity). We report the case of a 65 year old man with PMME and give a short review of the literature.
