Hautinfektionen sind beim Pferd ein häufiger Vorstellungsgrund, ähneln aber im klinischen Erscheinungsbild vielen nichtinfektiösen Hautkrankheiten. Eine korrekte Diagnose ist für die erfolgreiche Behandlung solcher Pferde eine notwendige Voraussetzung.
