Summary

While case-taking in homeopathy began as a drive to gather information, it has become much more. Augmented by skills from other disciplines, case-taking in contemporary homeopathy now emphasises sophisticated techniques borrowed from other disciplines. Understanding the historical development of this change and being able to identify the features in the landscape of case-taking assists students, graduates and practitioners identify their strengths and weaknesses, and tailor their skills for better results.
