Einleitung

Am 6. und 7. Juni 2013 fand das 9. Diskussionstreffen zur Qualitätssicherungsstudie für „Operative Therapie der Adipositas“ (German Bariatric Surgery Registry = GBSR) in der „Gläsernen Manufaktur“ Dresden statt. Vertreter aus über 70 Kliniken kamen zur Auswertung der Ergebnisse des Jahres 2012 und zum Update Adipositas- und metabolische Chirurgie. Referenten aus zertifizierten Zentren stellten die Daten der Literatur des Jahres 2012 zu einzelnen Operationsverfahren und Techniken vor. Im Anschluss wurde die Qualitätssicherungsstudie des Jahres 2012 ausgewertet und mit den Ergebnissen des Updates diskutiert.
