Verglichen mit einer ASS-Monotherapie verbessert die duale Plättchenhemmung (DAPT) mit ASS plus Clopidogrel den klinischen Verlauf von Patienten nach akutem Koronarsyndrom oder perkutaner Koronarintervention. Der Wirkung der DAPT auf die Progression der Atherosklerose nativer Koronararterien nach Bypass-Chirurgie wurde in einer Sekundär-Analyse der CASCADE-Studie untersucht.
