Introduction

Toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis is the most common infectious cause of posterior uveitis worldwide [1]. Visual impairment due to ocular toxoplasmosis is in most cases related to an involvement of the macula or the optic nerve head. The occurrence of retinal vasculitis is a common phenomenon but vascular obstruction seems to be a rare finding that was documented in a relatively small number of cases [2]. Few data is available on the impact of toxoplasmosis related inflammation on retinal vessels.
