Zusammenfassung
Ein 64-jähriger Patient erlitt ohne erklärliche Ursache ein akutes Karpaltunnelsyndrom an der rechten Hand. Bei der notfallmäßigen Operation entleerte sich ein ausgeprägtes Hämatom. Es besteht der dringende Verdacht, dass es sich um eine Blutungskomplikation nach Einnahme von Rivaroxaban (Xarelto®) handelte.
Abstract
A 64-year-old man suffered from acute carpal tunnel syndrome of his right hand without explainable reason. An emergency operation drained a pronounced haematoma. There is a strong suspicion this was a bleeding complication related to taking rivaroxaban (Xarelto®).
