Zusammenfassung
Chronische Beckenbodenschmerzen schränken die Lebensqualität ein. Die dadurch verursachten Krankheitskosten sind enorm. Die Ätiologie ist multifaktoriell und die Therapie häufig für Patienten und Therapeuten frustran. Aufgrund dessen werden oftmals alternativmedizinische Verfahren durch die Patienten eingeleitet. Diese werden im Folgenden erläutert.
Abstract
Chronic pelvic pain has a negative impact on quality of life, resulting in a tremendous cost of illness. This condition has a multifactorial etiology and its treatment is often a frustrating experience for patients and therapists alike. Therefore, patients frequently initiate alternative medical treatment methods, which are explained below.
