Abstract
Rosai-Dorfman disease is a benign lymphoproliferative disease with rare occurrence
in the overall population. The characteristic findings of the disease are emperipolesis
on microscopy and S-100 protein positivity on immunohistochemistry. The present report
describes the case of a 57-year-old man who presented with repeated seizures, urinary
retention, and ataxia. Satisfactory results were obtained with surgical treatment.
The diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemistry.
