Zusammenfassung
Zur Vorbereitung auf die vollständige Überarbeitung des Patientenschulungsprogramms der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Rheumatologie für Patientinnen und Patienten mit einem Fibromyalgie-Syndrom wurde eine umfangreiche Befragung von Betroffenen mittels Fokusgruppen durchgeführt. Insgesamt 48 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer hatten die Möglichkeit in einem strukturierten Interview, Themen zu nennen, deren Stellenwert für sie im Rahmen einer Patientenschulung hoch war. Im Vordergrund standen sowohl der Wunsch, Selbstmanagementkompetenzen zum eigenverantwortlichen Umgang mit der Erkrankung zu erlernen als auch Informationen zur Erkrankung zu erhalten. Es konnte eine Rangliste der häufigsten Nennungen erstellt werden, sodass die Inhalte Eingang in die Neukonzeption des Schulungsprogramms fanden. Alle Teilnehmer schätzten die Bedeutung der Patientenschulung für sich selbst als sehr hoch ein.
Summary
In order to prepare the complete revision of the patient education program of the German Society of Rheumatology for patients with a fibromyalgia syndrome, a comprehensive survey of affected persons was carried out using focus groups. A total of 48 participants had the opportunity in a structured interview to name topics whose importance was high in the context of a patient education session. The main focus was on the request to learn self-management competences for a self-responsible handling of the illness as well as to obtain information about the disease. A ranking of the most common mentions could be drawn up, so that the contents find entrance in the new concept of the education program. All participants estimated the importance of patient education as very high.
