Abstract

The uptake of ^99mTc-pertechnetate (TcO₄), ^99mTc-iron-ascorbic acid (Feasc), ^99mTc-Solcocitran (Solcocitran), ^99mTc-diphosphonate (HEDP) and ⁶⁷Ga-citrate (Ga) in various brain lesions was compared. Influence of time from injection was also studied on the first three compounds. A rank correlation method was used to compare the scans which were judged visually by three independent observers. There was good agreement between the observers, as measured by Kendall’s τ, but the concordance between rankings within the same type of lesion, as measured by Kendall’s W, was rather poor. There was no significant difference in the uptake of TcO₄, Feasc and Solcocitran. Ga showed generally poor uptake and its uptake in tumours and infarcts did not differ significantly. However, when HEDP and TcO₄ were compared in two groups (I: Infarcts, haemorrhages and bone invading meningiomas, and II: Tumours not invaded into bone) a highly significant difference was obtained with much higher uptake of HEDP in Group I.

Es wurde die Anreicherung von^99mTc-Pertechnetat (TcO₄), ^99mTc-Eisen-Ascorbinsäure (Feasc), ^99mTc-Solcocitran (Solcocitran), ^99mTc-Diphosphonat (HEDP) und ⁶⁷Ga-Zitrat (Ga) bei verschiedenen Arten von Hirnläsionen verglichen. Für die drei ersten Verbindungen wurde auch der Einfluß der Zeit ab dem Moment der Injektion untersucht. Zum Vergleich der Szintigramme, die von drei Untersuchern unabhängig voneinander visuell beurteilt wurden, wurde eine Rang-Zuordnungs-Methode verwendet. Die Übereinstimmung zwischen den Untersuchern war gut (gemessen mit Kendall’s τ-Test), während die Einstufungen innerhalb desselben Läsionstypus nur wenig übereinstimmten (gemessen mit W-Test nach Kendall). Es gab keine signifikanten Unterschiede zwischen der Anreicherung von TcO₄, Feasc und Solcocitran. Ga wurde im allgemeinen nur spärlich gespeichert, und die Anreicherung von Ga in Tumoren unterschied sich nicht signifikant von der in Infarkten. Dann aber wurden HEDP und TcO₄ in zwei Gruppen verglichen (I: Infarkte, Blutungen und in den Knochen infiltrierende Meningeome, und II: nicht in den Knochen infiltrierende Tumore; es zeigte sich ein signifikanter Unterschied mit erheblich stärkerer Anreicherung von HEDP in Gruppe I.
