Summary

Scintigraphy of acute myocardial infarction 1 hr after intravenous administration of pyrophosphate labeled with ^99m Tc suitably complements the classical diagnostic methods. A delay longer than that does not improve the quality of the scan. An acute lesion can be detected within 24 hours to 1 week after its development.

Die szintigraphische Abbildung des akuten Myokardinfarktes mittels ^99mTc-Pyrophosphat ist eine geeignete Ergänzung der bisher benutzten diagnostischen Methoden. Am erfolgreichsten ist die szintigraphische Untersuchung etwa 60 Min. nach der intravenösen Applikation des Radiopharmakons. Eine weitere Verzögerung erbringt keine Verbesserung des Bildes. Akute Schädigungen des Myokards sind in einem Zeitintervall von 1–7 Tagen nach dem Entstehen feststellbar.
