Summary

The presence of a splenic cyst can be suspected on clinical grounds, helped by the routine radiological techniques. With the application of more refined procedures as radioisotope scanning and arteriography, the diagnosis can be confirmed even before surgical exploration.

An illustrative case is presented.

La présence d’un kyste splénique peut être soupçonné à partir des symptômes cliniques et à l’aide des techniques radiologiques habituelles. Avec l’application des procédés plus raffinés comme la scintigraphie, artériographie, le diagnostic peut être confirmé même avant l’exploration chirurgicale.

Un cas instructif est présenté.

Das Vorhandensein einer Milzzyste kann auf Grund klinischer Symptome und der Ergebnisse routinemäßiger radiologischer Methoden vermutet werden. Durch die Anwendung verfeinerter Methoden wie Radioisotopenszintigraphie und Arteriographie kann die Diagnose noch vor einer chirurgischen Intervention bestätigt werden.

Ein gegenständlicher Fall wird vorgestellt.
