Zusammenfassung
Die laparoskopische Fundoplikatio nach Nissen ist eine effektive und sichere Behandlung
des pathologischen gastroösophagealen Refluxes bei Säuglingen und Kindern. Sie erfordert
ein hohes Maß an minimal-invasiver chirurgischer Kompetenz und eine gewissenhafte
Nachbetreuung der Patienten. In den Händen von erfahrenen laparoskopischen Kinderchirurgen
ist die häufigste Komplikation das Refluxrezidiv in unter 5% der Fälle. Kinder, bei
denen über mehrere Monate ein pathologischer gastroösophagealer Reflux erfolglos konservativ
behandelt wurde, sollten zur laparoskopischen Fundoplikatio in ein spezialisiertes
Zentrum überwiesen werden.
Summary
Laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication is an effective and safe measure for the treatment
of gastroesophageal reflux disease in infants and children. It requires a high degree
of minimal invasive surgical competence and a meticulous patient follow-up care. In
the hands of experienced laparoscopic surgeons, the most prevalent complication is
recurrent reflux in fewer than 5% of cases. Children who are conservatively treated
for pathologic gastroesophageal reflux over several months without success should
be referred to a specialized center for laparoscopic fundoplication.
