Schlafbezogene Atmungsstörungen sind eine häufige und klinisch relevante Komplikation bei Patienten mit Akromegalie. In Zusammenschau mit Akromegalie-verdächtigen anatomischen Auffälligkeiten können sie wichtiger Weichensteller für eine weitere endokrinologische Diagnostik sein. Wir berichten den Kasus eines Patienten, dessen schlafmedizinische Vorstellung zur Diagnosestellung einer Akromegalie führte.
