Hypersomnie – ein übermäßiges Schlafbedürfnis – bedarf einer detaillierten schlafmedizinisch-neurologischen und psychiatrischen Abklärung. Oftmals überlagert das Auftreten vieler Einzelsymptome die Diagnose der Narkolepsie.
