Zusammenfassung
Während bei einigen Myopathien der typische Phänotyp ausreicht, um die Diagnose durch eine gezielte molekulargenetische Untersuchung zu sichern, erfordert bei der Mehrzahl der Myopathien die Diagnostik noch immer die subtile Analyse des Phänotyps, der elektromyografischen Befunde und der histologischen Veränderungen. In vielen Fällen ermöglicht erst die Zusammenschau dieser Befunde eine gezielte molekulare Diagnostik. Allerdings sind in Abhängigkeit vom jeweiligen klinischen Phänotyp häufig nicht alle Untersuchungen notwendig. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Versuch unternommen, Notwendigkeit und Verzichtbarkeit dieser einzelnen Untersuchungen bei bestimmten Verdachtsdiagnosen darzustellen.
Summary
In some myopathies the typical phenotype is sufficient to confirm the diagnosis by specific molecular genetic analysis out of leukocytes. In the majority of myopathies, however, the diagnosis still requires the subtile analysis of phenotype, electromyographic findings and histological changes. In most oft these cases only the synopsis of the various findings allows a specific molecular diagnosis. Depending on the particular clinical phenotype not all of all these investigations, however, are necessary. In the present study, the diagnostic implications of the various examinations are summarized and it is attempted to evaluate this need of these examination depending on the suspected diagnoses.
