Wir berichten über drei Säuglinge im Alter unter fünf Monaten, davon ein Junge mit erhöhtem Risiko bei kardialer Grunderkrankung, die einen Tag nach Masern-Exposition mit dem Lebendimpfstoff aktiv im Sinne einer Inkubationsimpfung geimpft wurden. Die Kinder haben die Impfung gut vertragen, keine Masernerkrankung entwickelt und wiesen nach einem halben Jahr schützende Antikörper im Serum auf.
Summary
We report the cases of three infants aged between four and five months – one of whom a boy with increased risk due to cardiac disease – who have been actively immunized with measles live vaccine 1 day after being exposed to measles. The immunizations were well tolerated. None of the infants developed measles. All the three children mounted a protective antibody response as assessed six months later.
