Die selektive interne Radiotherapie (SIRT) wird in einer Reihe von klinischen Studien bei Lebertumoren- und Metastasen untersucht. Die beste Datenlage liegt bisher für Metastasen kolorektaler Karzinome vor. Wesentlich weniger fortgeschritten ist die Evidenz für das hepatozelluläre Karzinom.
