Systematic Outline of Errors of Statistical Inference^{[*] [**]}

Summary

A systematic outline is given of the errors and mistakes which can affect statistical inference. This study starts from the subject matter question and discusses the possibilities of errors during all steps of work up to the wording of the statistical result and the inference to the original problem.

Es wird eine systematische Übersicht über die Fehler und Irrtümer gegeben, die bei statistischen Schlüssen auftreten können. Die Untersuchung geht von der sachlichen Fragestellung aus und erörtert die Möglichkeit von Fehlern während aller Arbeitsschritte bis zur Formulierung des statistischen Ergebnisses und zum Rückschluß auf das ursprüngliche Problem.
