Summary

In relatively high concentrations DFP was found to inactivate autoprothrombin C. PMSF also inactivated the enzyme. A useful modification in our assay procedure for autoprothrombin C is described.

* This investigation was supported by a research grant HE-05141-09 from the National Heart Institute, National Institutes of Health, U. S. Public Health Service. We wish to thank Dr. Danica Dabich of our Biochemistry Department for her supplies of material and assistance with some experiments with DFP.
