Summary

The action of some anticoagulants and fibrinolytic substances on the culture of mice fibroblasts is described. Actase and streptokinase show a relatively high toxicity. Beta-heparins are more toxic than alpha-heparins. For pentosans the cytotoxic action is inversely proportional to the molecular weight. Marcoumar is more toxic than coumarin without anticoagulant activity. Variations of the concentration of factors VII, IX and X are of no importance for the cells. Cells 4 hours after explantation are not basically more sensitive than cells 24 hours after explantation.
