The efficiency and reproducibility of results using these suspensions compares favourably with those of standard platelet suspensions and brain extract. In comparing the thromboplastin generation and the thromboplastin screening tests no important practical differences are noted. The use of simplified platelet suspensions is recommended for routine use in the thromboplastin screening test. Full Text References References Barkhan P.
