Abstract
This article presents a case of a young woman with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) who has set her mind on having a child. Then after finally the woman becomes pregnant, there is the question ‘is this what I really want?’

Wiet van Helmond is a Dutch homeopath practicing in the cities of Vught and The Hague. Besides his practice he is one of the teachers at the Hahnemann Institute and a frequent lecturer on national and international seminars.
