Pssst ... AINS-Secrets! – Heute aus der bariatrischen Chirurgie

Dr. C. ist heute als Facharzt in der Allgemeinchirurgie eingeteilt. Beide Säle laufen gerade noch, als die nächste Patientin schon in die Holding Area gebracht wird. Dr. C. nimmt sich noch mal das Anästhesieprotokoll vor. Die Patientin ist mit 42 Jahren jung, hat aber diverse Vorerkrankungen. Neben einem insulinpflichtigen Diabetes mellitus und einer arteriellen Hypertonie ist da eine besondere Sache, die Dr. C. ins Schwitzen bringt: Bei einer Körpergröße von 165 cm wiegt die Patientin 190 kg. Sie hatte mal 210 kg auf die Waage gebracht. Zunächst erhielt die Patientin einen Magenballon, der im weiteren Verlauf durch ein Magenband ersetzt wurde. Die ersten 20 kg hat sie sehr schnell verloren. Das Magenband ist aber verrutscht und die Kollegen der Abdominalchirurgie wollen der Patientin nun einen Schlauchmagen anlegen. Zum Glück hat der OA Dr. W. erklärt, dass er die Patienten bereits 2-mal problemlos intubiert hat. Dr. C. ist beruhigt, hat aber am Morgen schon alle Materialien des Airwaymanagements in den Einleitungsraum gefahren, um für alles gewappnet zu sein.
