Zusammenfassung
Der systematische Einsatz von Bewegungsvorstellungen hat in den letzten Jahrzehnten einen großen Bedeutungszuwachs im Training von Sportlern erfahren. Zudem wird Bewegungsvorstellungstraining inzwischen auch in der motorischen Rehabilitation, z. B. zur Therapie motorischer Funktionsstörungen nach Schlaganfall, bei neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen wie Morbus Parkinson oder auch bei neuropathischen Schmerzsyndromen (Graded Motor Imagery; GMI), angewendet.
