Abstract

The cutaneous deposition disorders are a heterogeneous group of unrelated diseases sharing the common feature of depositions consisting of endogenous or exogenous substances in the dermis or subcutis. In many cases such cutaneous deposits provide the crucial hint for an underlying internal disease. The following review will issue an overview of the deposition disorders based on their classification, clinical appearance and histopathology.
