Abstract

Physical therapy of muscular dysfunctions in rheumatic diseases requires a well-balanced strategy based on individual findings. Type, intensity and length of therapeutic interventions have not been sufficiently evaluated in these disorders. The authors provide an overview of evidence-based interventions and recommendations based on clinical experience.
