Zusammenfassung

Wundheilungsstörungen in bestrahlten Arealen der Kopf-Hals-Region stellen eine relevante Herausforderung im klinischen Alltag dar. Insbesondere pharyngokutane Fisteln können die Morbidität dieses Patientengutes erhöhen. Die Injektion von Lipoaspiraten bei radiogenen Wundheilungsstörungen wird in der Literatur vielversprechend diskutiert. Die aktuelle Arbeit beschreibt anhand eines klinischen Falls die erfolgreiche Injektion von Bauchfett zur Therapie einer pharyngokutanen Fistel nach Laryngektomie und Radiotherapie.

Abstract

Wound healing complications in irradiated tissues represent a major clinical challenge. Fistula or even major vessel rupture may occur. The injection of adipose tissue derived stem cells seem to be a promising therapeutical strategy. The article describes the clinical case of a patient suffering from a pharyngo-cutaneous fistula after laryngectomy and radiotherapy. The patient was successfully treated by the injection of fat tissue.
