Thermochirurgische Ablation von Fibroadenomen der Brust – Erste Erfahrungen mit einem HIFU-System

Fibroadenome (FA) sind die häufigsten benignen Tumoren der Brust Erwachsener und junger Frauen. Die klassische Therapiemethode ist die operative Entfernung. Jüngst wurden minimal-invasive Alternativen entwickelt, wie Kryoablation, Ultraschall-gesteuerte Vakuumbiopsie, Radiofrequenz- oder Laserablation. Hochintensiver, fokussierter Ultraschall (HIFU) ist eine neue Methode zur Behandlung von FA.
