Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über einen 63-jährigen Patienten mit schwerer, therapierefraktärer rheumatoider Arthritis, der unter der Therapie mit dem TNF-alpha-Antagonisten Adalimumab (Humira®) nach traumatischen Ablederungen und folgendem Reinigen eines Aquariums ausgedehnte Schwimmbadgranulome mit nachgewiesener Infektion durch Mycobacterium marinum an beiden Ellenbogen und Unterarmen entwickelte.

Abstract

We report on a 63-year-old male patient with severe recalcitrant rheumatoid arthritis, who developed during adalimumab (Humira®) therapy following traumatic dermabrasion and cleaning of an aquarium extensive swimming pool granuloma with infection by mycobacterium marinum on both elbows and forearms.
