Die Grenzen der Adipositastherapie

Die zunehmende Adipositasprävalenz ist ein weltweites Gesundheitsproblem. Konservative, medikamentöse und endoskopische Therapiestrategien sind dabei wenig erfolgreich und die bariatrische Chirurgie ist nur für einen kleinen Patientenkreis nutzbar.

The increasing prevalence of obesity is a worldwide health problem. Conservative therapies, drug therapies, and endoscopic therapies are providing no real benefit, and bariatric surgery is only available for a small amount of patients.
