1 Overview

IMIA-LAC (Latin-America and Carribbean) activities have been severely restricted in the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, digital health professionals and institutions from countries in the region, as well as IMIA-LAC member societies, have been playing a key role during the pandemic, strongly contributing to national health services for monitoring, reporting and planning actions aimed to combat this serious crisis that afflicts the entire world.

INFOLAC, the congress traditionally held by IMIA-LAC, ceased in this period due to the pandemic, and its return is being considered for the end of 2022.
