CI is one of the most recent surgical procedures in Otology. Although this name is misnomer as the right and scientific name is Biologic Ear, but CI is still more famous and familiar.

CI necessitates cooperation of many specialties pre-, intra- and postoperative. Therefore the development and progress in this field is great.

This work is devoted to focus, in brief but complete, the most recent trends in Biologic ear procedures including the rehabilitation.
